StreetTrucks, June 2014 Cover Story – “The Upscale Brawler”

There’s a lot on the line when you own Complete Customs, a custom shop like Shaun Freilich of McKinney, Texas does, especially when you’re building a calling card for your business.

1Freilich began with a new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4X4. To its 5.3 L V-8, he added an AiRaid cold-air intake, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and an Edge Evolution CTS Tuner.

The 12” Bulletproof Suspension lift kit, Icon Vehicle Dynamics front coil overs and rear shocks with remote reservoirs, and a Firestone Ride Rite air spring kit allows sufficient clearance for 24 X 12 American Force Vector wheels, with 38 X 13.50R24 Nitto Trail Grappler tires.

Complete Customs painted the truck, with Gasoline Art graphics to a KEG Media design. A CC Edition grille was fitted with two 10” Rigid Industries LED light bars, 4” Rigid LED light bars in the front bumper, and Rigid D2s mounted in the rear bumper. AMP Research PowerStep running boards, an Undercover tonneau cover and a BedRug liner are among the exterior modifications.

Inside, an array of Alpine component speakers, subs and amps, Alea Leather seat covers, an ultrasuede-covered headliner, and a custom speaker box under the rear bench seat completes this very tastefully modified show and go truck, with Rigid Industries lighting the way!
