As the largest, most prestigious off-road race in North America, the Mint has tested drivers since 1967 with its brutal desert course that most do not complete.
The Rigid Industries Quarry will be the most popular spectating area on race day, Saturday, March 15, and race organizers expect it to fill up fast.
The spectator-friendly area will provide a view of over five miles of the race course and a slew of obstacles so race fans can have a fantastic overview of all the off-road action.
Rigid Industries LED Lighting is a supporting sponsor of the 2014 Mint 400 will also be providing custom LED lighting towers for the pit crew challenge on March 14 and for the race’s finish podium. Many Rigid Torture Team members will be racing the Mint, including two former champions. BJ Baldwin won the race in 2011 and Bryce Menzies will be defending last year’s title. Other Torture Team racers competing include Justin Davis, Brandon Arthur, the Greene Motorsport Team, the Cops Racing Team and many more.
