We are currently a little over half way through the 2014-racing season with the final rounds of various events approaching quickly.

Jeremy Purvines continues to have another amazing season as he sits in second place in both the MRAN Desert Series and Auto GP Series, with a strong opportunity to win both series.

Purvines Racing’s Nick Burson sits at the top of the National Hare and Hound Series. Currently he has a (2) two-point lead going into the finalthree rounds of racing. Nick has been riding amazing aboard his Beta 498 motorcycle. He has finished on the podium in every race and has won two rounds of racing. He has also been doing well in the District 37 series with multiple wins in that series.

Axel Pearson, Purvines Racing team member, has also been doing well throughout the season. He currently ranks 5th in points with (4) four top (5) five finishes in the National Hare and Hound Series. He also has numerous wins in the local Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada (MRAN) Series.

Justin Morrow, of Purvines Racing, was having a great season in the National Hare and Hound Series with (4) four consecutive top five finishes, until an injury occurred. Justin is back on the bike and is expected to return soon. He hopes to duplicate last year when he and Burson won best overall at the Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno in August.

Purvines Racing’s Tallon Taylor has been getting stronger as the season goes along. He is currently sitting 13th in points as he looks to finish strong in his first complete season appearance in the National Hare and Hound Series. Last race he finished in 8th place, making this his best finish this season. Tallon and Pearson teamed up to win the Open Pro Series at the Get Xtreme Baja Challenge while they also claimed an overall win in a local MRAN Night Race Series.

TJ Hannifin, Purvines Racing team member, has been doing great in Utah this season. He has had some strong finishes in the local races. Hannifin also finished 4th overall in the sixth round of the National Hare and Hounds Series.

Curtis Bradley has been holding together strong this season despite a dislocated elbow back, which happened back in March. He earned an overall win in the MRAN Desert Series and two overall wins with teammate Jeremy Purvines in the MRAN Night race series. He and Jeremy are in the lead for points in the 250 Pro Class – Best in the Desert Series. They also have the lead for the Open Pro class points in the MRAN Night Race Series. When they start the final race of the season at the end of July, they will lock up their fourth consecutive Open Pro Night Race Championship.

The Purvines Racing riders are looking to finish the season strong with hopes of winning multiple championships. The next race the Purvines Racing team will compete in will be the Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno August 15, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thank you to all of our sponsors for making this season possible!

More about Purvines Racing:

Ron Purvines began Purvines Racing because he wanted to help the sport of off-road motorcycle racing during an economically difficult time. At the time, off-road racing was lacking support and financial backing causing talented riders to leave the sport. Ron started Purvines Racing to help those riders continue to race by giving financial support and offer 30-years of off-road racing experience. Purvines Racing was Ron’s way of giving back to the sport that he loves so much. Ron recently retired from racing after 30-years due to a back injury and is no longer able to race. He raced along side his son Jeremy for over 13 years. Purvines Racing thus serves as a way to continue racing with Jeremy as well.
