Noah Pescitelli, Rigid Industries Torture Team Member, recently placed 11th overall at the Southeastern Conference Championship presented by FLW/TBF at Lake Nickajack, TN.
Pescitelli and his teammate, Westin Sachs of Mill Creek High School, located in Buford, GA, combined for a solid 11th place finish at the Southeastern Conference Championship.
“This was a tough tournament for Westin and I. Lake Nickajack can be a mysterious lake sometimes but I’m happy with the solid finish,” said Noah.
Lake Nickajack’s tricky waters were giving problems to all the anglers.
“There were only 65 total fish caught out of 41 anglers. I was really surprised at the small turn out of catches but I guess that just the way it is sometimes,” said Noah.
Pescitelli and Sachs ended up with a total weigh in of 4 lbs. and 11oz. KJ Queen and his partner Tyler Black were the only ones who found the magical fishing hole. They conquered the slim competition at Lake Nicajack with a total weigh in of 17lbs and 8 oz. to win the Southeastern Conference Championship.
With only the Southern and Western Conference Championships left, all qualifying teams will be turning their attention to the National Championship which will be in conjunction with the TBF Adult National Championship in April at the always productive Grand Lake in NE, Oklahoma.
Let’s cheer on Noah as he prepares for his next fishing tournament at Lake Lanier on Saturday, October 18 in North Georgia.
