Myan Spaccarelli, Rigid Industries Torture Team Member, and driver of the Tonka Off-Road Pro 2 in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, knows the heart of racing.

Myan hails from Simi Valley, California, located 30 miles from Downtown Los Angeles. This is where Myan said he was working full-time to turn his dreams of off-road racing full time into a reality. Five years ago he sold his recycling business and now spends most of his day working on his Tonka Off-Road Pro 2 truck.

Back in 2011, Myan bought a Pro 2 race truck from fellow Rigid Industries Torture Team Member and Las Vegas Driver B.J. Baldwin and shortly after, made his entry to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. This is when Myan knew that his dreams were coming true. Tonka is Myan’s official sponsor for the LOORRS off-road racing series.

“Tonka is excited about its relationship with the Spaccarelli team and the LOORRS series,” said Myan. As a current competitor in the Pro 2 division, check out when Myan will be competing in future LOORRS events from the remaining schedule here.

Today Myan has a much different perspective from his involvement with Tonka than he did a few years ago. He is a also participating in a non-profit charity event known as “Touch-A-Truck.”

Most recently, Myan’s Tonka Off-Road truck participated in the Conejo Recreation and Park District’s Touch-A-Truck event in Thousand Oaks, CA, which drew thousands of people from around the valley.

“It feels great being able to display my truck in which I have worked so hard on,” said Myan.  Check out the slideshow from the recent Touch-A-Truck event in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Vehicles on display include construction trucks, off-road racing trucks, emergency responders, tractor-trailers, utility trucks and much more. The Touch-A-Truck events also feature area mascots, food trucks, family-friendly activities and many local vendors.

Keep an eye out of the rest of the Touch-A-Truck events, most notably on October 18, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona, just a few miles down the road from Rigid Industries Headquarters. The remaining Touch-A-Truck events will run from August until November. Click here for the complete list of remaining events.
