Rigid Industries LED Lighting, the world’s leader in forward projecting LED lighting via its patented optic systems and torture-tested housing, has been honored with a SEMA Global Media Award for its 2013.5-2014 KTM LED Mount. Baptiste Guillevic of AutoBahn, a highly regarded journalist and publication from France, selected the Rigid Industries 2013.5-2014 KTM LED Mount to be recognized.
The 2013.5-2014 KTM LED Mount features light weight aluminum construction, a durable powder coat that includes mount hardware, a custom switch assembly and a pendant switch. This mount can hold Rigid SR-M/SR-M2 lights or one Rigid SR-M/SR-M2 and one Rigid SR-Q/SR-Q2.
The SEMA Global Media Awards Program recognizes those companies that manufacturer specialty equipment products and accessories that would have mass appeal to consumers in countries outside the United States. The products are voted on by a prestigious group of international journalists who serve as judges.
“The idea of customization and personalization has been growing throughout the world,” said Linda Spencer, SEMA director of international and government relations. “Our goal is to have media experts from around the world determine which new products are likely to succeed in their home markets. The automotive specialty-equipment market is made up of enthusiasts who are passionate about the hobby, and so it’s exciting to see how their love for cars, trucks, and SUVs are impacting those throughout the world.”
In 2014 the program included 26 judges from 15 countries. The voting panel reviewed nearly 2,000 new products that were featured at this year’s SEMA Show. Each journalist selected 10 products that would be of most interest to their publications’ readers and most likely to succeed commercially in their respective countries.
