Rigid Industries Torture Team Members are gearing up for the General Tire 2014 “Vegas to Reno” Off-Road Racing Event Presented by FOX. The three day long event will run Wednesday, August 14 through Friday, August 16 (race day.)
Overall, 304 racers from the U.S. and around the world are set to compete – with entries coming now from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, South Africa, Uruguay and 25 U.S. States.

FOX along with Team Ford of Las Vegas have teamed up to kick off the General Tire “Vegas to Reno” presented by FOX race weekend in style with a special night of celebration and hard core bench racing.
“Off-Road Racing Trivia Night” hosted at The Salted Lime Cantina just inside the Aliante Casino and Hotel, is the chance for teams to compete for sponsored prizes by answering entertaining and mentally challenging off-road racing questions. Without a doubt, this unique event is the perfect way to get things started.
Following the “Off-Road Racing Trivia Night” teams will register and go through tech-inspection on Thursday. All of the nail biting and rigorous off-road racing starts Friday for all race classes. Everything concludes on Saturday when the awards will be handed out. Don’t miss out on this exciting annual event!

Thursday, August 14th – Driver Registration, Contingency and Tech Inspection, Aliante Casino & Hotel in North Las Vegas
Friday, August 15th – Race for all classes starts near Beatty, finishes at the Dayton Events Center
Saturday, August 16th – Awards presentation in Reno at the Grand Sierra Resort
The Best in the Desert (BITD) Racing Association is an American desert off-road racing association. It is operated by Casey Folks and based out of Las Vegas Nevada. BITD runs the Vegas to Reno, the longest off-road racing event in the United States. The Best in the Desert has classes of Trick Trucks (aka Trophy Truck), buggies, motorcycles and Quads.
